Have you ever wanted a fast, easy way to add bling to your cards? Walnut Hollow's Crystyler by Norma Rapko may be just the ticket to bling up cards! I used the Crystyler to embellish this handmade greeting card in seconds:

I love the look of bling but some of that self-adhesive bling (you know, the stickers) falls apart, the gems fall off, and they don't shine much because they are made of plastic. Using “real” crystals, like these from Walnut Hollow, really make your project shine. You don't need alot of gems to really add a lot of sparkle and pizzazz to your project when you're using crystals instead of plastic stickers.

I am also a big supporter of multi-taskers in the craft room (holla Alton Brown!) and these crystals can be used for home decor, wearables, jewelry and more in addition to papercrafts. Use ONE product for many things and you don't need to have a giant stash of stuff cluttering up your space.

A few weeks ago, I visited the people at The Weekly Scrapper and made this tutorial on how to use the Crystyler to embellish your cards and other papercrafts, easily with precision.

What will you decorate with Crystyler?

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
