Have you ever driven by stores and wondered what was really inside of them? That was the case with me and Fallas Paredes stores. One day I was headed to Hobby Lobby and I decided to stop into the Fallas Paredes store in the same shopping center. They always have these signs and racks outside with things for $2 or $3 so I figured, “why not have a look?” This is what I got in my Fallas Paredes haul:

The store is actually a part of the Factory-2-U company, a store I used to shop at all the time when Katie was little because of their deals. The store was mostly clean and things were sorted and pretty easy to find, which I really appreciated! I have to limit any time I shop at Marshall's or Ross because the stores are such disaster areas that it stresses me out. Plus when clothes get dumped on the floor, they get gross and dirty and sometimes damaged – yuck!

I spent about 30 minutes in the store and we focused on the men's and boy's clothing areas. They had some plus sizes, such as 3X and 4X but the bulk of the sizes were Smalls and Mediums. We were able to find some XLs for my husband. The store had some name brands, like South Pole and Polo by Ralph Lauren and also had some knock-off brands as well. There were also lots of Marvel, Skylanders, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and other trendy t-shirts and swim trunks for under $10 each. One thing I noticed is that some of these items must have been factory seconds – I recommend checking the stitching before buying. They don't have fitting rooms and returns are only for store credit, with a receipt, within 30 days. The clearance racks are where I found the real gems, like a green polo for $3.99 that my husband wears every week to work. It has washed up well and looks great!! That was a super deal. The black button down shirt I got for him is a bit too small but he will be wearing that soon as well.

In the kids area, there were lots of deals, especially for elementary school age kids. We got a button down shirt for Matthew for $3.99 and a “Polo” (not sure if it is real or a knock-off) for $5.99. I also got a pair of knock-off Vans style shoes for Matt for $4.99 and some knock-off Converse for Katie for $7.99.

In the shoes section there were some name brand shoes and some that seemed to be Fallas' own brand, meaning they had a lot of them and I have never seen that “brand” anywhere else. They have shoes from babies to adults, tennis shoes to high heels and everything in between. Their wall of sandals for summer was impressive!

We got 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, and a pair of swim trunks for $50. That is a killer deal! I remember watching “What Not To Wear” and Stacy or Clinton saying that your clothes should cost about $3 per wear. So a $30 shirt should last 10 wears or washes before showing any wear and tear. We got this haul just a couple weeks ago and already we've gotten our money out of these clothes and then some!

I definitely recommend checking out Fallas Paredes if you haven't yet! They carry a lot of school uniforms as well as regular clothes. I plan to have it be a stop on my back-to-school shopping list. In the meantime., they have great deals on clothes to tide the kids over until fall.
