Matt tying shoes

Matthew has been working hard on trying to learn to tie his shoes. Since he's entering second grade, its important to him to become more self-sufficicent before the school year starts. I've been looking for a good way to celebrate his efforts that doesn't involve food, like ice cream treats or other food based rewards, and I recently learned about a new line of cards that turn into posters, by Hallmark. These cards for kids are so cool, in current themes with popular cartoon characters that both girls and boys will love. All kids need love and encouragement and Hallmark Kid Posters are a great way to show that love in a BIG way. You can find the new Kids Poster cards at Walmart — they are the size of a normal card but then pop open into a poster! I love how the Hallmark Kid Posters look like a regular card, but expand out into an encouraging poster with a positive message.

   Matt with cards

How cute is Matthew opening up his card?! his first reaction was to the thickness of the card – he knew there was something more to it than a folded piece of cardstock! Then he pulled out the card and realized it was a POSTER!! Score!!

He ran to his room and knew exactly where to put his new Guardians of the Galaxy Poster by Hallmark. I hope that every time he looks at it, he will think of what he accomplished by learning to tie his shoes. He probably will just think of how cool Guardians of the Galaxy and this poster are!

You can find these cards at your local Walmart, in the greeting card aisle:

As a bonus, you can also earn rewards for the Hallmark cards you buy at Walmart.  For every 5 cards you buy, you’ll earn a reward! How cool is that?! Check out the Rewards Program here:  Hallmark Card Rewards Program

What milestones and moments in your kids' lives do you want to make special with a celebration? These Hallmark Poster cards are a great way to share a special moment and give a gift that lasts. Um, cuz we all know ice cream melts!

Thanks for stopping by today :)
