I know many of us are feeling the burn, not only from the sun but in our wallets too. Luckily, this summer my classes are all under $40, five of which are under $30, for fully embellished mini books no less. Get out of the heat, enjoy the A/C of your local Scrapbook Store, and take a fun class this summer! Plus you'll be getting some scrapping done, and what's better than that?

“Sweet Summer” 5×7 Mini Book

Scrapping Lounge

We'll be playing with borders, making fun summer pages, and just having a ball in this class! I even put an “asterisk tree” in this book, similar to the one I had on my “A Little Bird's Tale” class in May.

“Island Summer” Layout Technique Class

If you've ever wanted to mask, glimmer mist, play with lace paper, paint, ink, diecut, stamp, free-hand cut or distress, you'll want to take this class! We'll do all of these techniques during the class plus you'll get to create your own custom title using the Quickutz Silhouette.

“Hear Me Roar” Layouts Class

Don't miss out on this dino-tastic class. We'll be playing with Tim Holtz crackle paint and have fun with borders on this T-rex-riffic layout.

“Celebrate” Birthday Layout Class

This class is all about circles and borders and good times. Perfect for any celebration, not just a kid's birthday, this layout is one you'll want to replicate over and over.

“Totally Wild” 6×6 Mini Book
August 10, 2008
12pm-3pm

The Scrappin' Table

I love this book–talk about loaded with technique! We'll even be stamping with bubble wrap! The book is filled with animals and I am even including some bonus animal diecuts for anyone who comes to the class.

Book Club Featuring
Show It Off!
August 13, 2008
7-9pm
$40 (includes 1 session + book)
The Scrappin' Table

You can still sign up for this last session of this cycle of book club. Or just sign up for the Sept-Nov cycle during which we will be playing with Donna Downey's “A Photos First Approach to Designing Layouts”.

“Absolutely Glamorous” Crown Mini Book
August 23, 2008
12-3pm
$28
Scrapping Lounge

Be over-the-top glamorous with this luscious crown shaped mini book class. We'll be stamping, painting, and playing with ribbon to create this sassy project plus you can create your own title in the class using Quickutz Cookie Cutter dies.

“Play Hard” Sports License Plate Book
August 31, 2008
10am-1pm
$35
The Scrappin' Table

This is your last chance to take my Sports License plate book! You can choose from football, baseball, basketball, tennis, and soccer. Or make the generic book and add your own specialized embellishments later. This book is full of inspirational spots quotes and fun details so you won't want to miss it–only a handful of spots are left!

I hope to see you in a class soon. I am working on adding one more class during August at the new store Scrapper's Cafe in Corona, CA so I'll be posting snapshots of the class soon. Have a great summer!
