Wow. I just love being a part of Scrapbook Royalty! Yeah, the charity part is really really cool. But it can also be really really fun too!

This morning Elena, Christi A, and I met with the store owners who participated in our Black, White, And Scrap All Over event. It was such a success! We raised some money for charity, lots of ladies got to learn about stores in their area, and we gave out great tote hooks, the stores gave out prizes…it was just great all the way around. So you know what? We are doing it again!!! It's still in the works but we started the planning today and I am so excited.

Then we all went over to check out the new digs for It's About Time–it is very chic chic and posh. Lots of vintage displays, fun stuff to look at, and of course great product! Here are some pics of the store:

I made a little stop at Now & Then to pick up the goodie basket I won during the Black, White, And Scrap All Over event–it has an album in it, rub-ons, all kinds of great goodies! So fun!

From there we went to lunch at On The Border. They have a great Chicken Tortilla soup I always get with avocado on top. Yummy! Matt was a total crazy “porkchop” (as Elena calls him) and was out of control but hey, he is a boy, what can I do?!

We all trekked up to Corona after lunch and met with the previous owner of Lil Davis who donated some awesome awesome product for SBR to use for auctions and to help raise money during our events for charity–sooo awesome!!

I finally made it home after another hour of driving. It was soooo hot today too! Little Matt had his ghetto fan in the back seat (it plugs in my cig lighter) to help keep him cool but it was pretty roasty toasty out there today.

And here is another cool thing: Scrapbook Royalty is going to help me collect bookmarks and canned foods for the two activities my Girl Scouts are doing this fall!! I just posted about the bookmarks on their blog here. And the address to send them to is there too. Thanks to everyone who has pledged to help out and a special thanks to tammy i for donating a TON of cans to us!!

All right, now off to scrapping!
