Wooooooohooooo!

I am going to be one of two Guest Designers for the September kit for Gypsy Rose Paperie!! I'm totally excited and can't wait for the box to arrive–it is gonna be great! If you haven't checked it out yet, Gypsy Rose Paperie is an online store for unique paper crafting items – a different kind of kit club that will not disappoint. Find out more HERE. The site is packed with free ephemera downloads AND they have giveaways and contests on the blog constantly.

Right now Gypsy Rose Paperie are hosting a blog scavenger hunt of which my blog is a part. You'll have to find the item on my blog that is on the scavenger hunt to enter to win a prize! For those of you who know me, it is something I am very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very involved in…. that's all the hint you'll get for now!

And I did crop on Labor Day and got a whopping 5 pages done- yeah I am moving kind of slow but the conversation and company were good so the day was well spent. WhoGAS pals Joanne and Nancy met me at the Boulevard and we all cropped for several hours, along with a couple of Nancy's friends who came along with her from the Antelope Valley (long long drive!). It was nice to crop with them again!!

Three of my pages are still awaiting titles but here is the one layout I did finish today:

I handcut the title to mimic the letters on the patterned paper and made the thought bubbles from a scalloped circle and two smaller circles on 3D foam squares. I'm really into orange, yellow, red, and blue right now–all of my pages have a focus on one of more of those colors..who knows! I even did a layout of Katie at the Hannah Montana movie and it was pink (of course) but it still had a bunch of blue on it. I forgot to scan it but it is up at The Scrappin' Table in Placentia. Speaking of which, stay tuned for an update on book club in the morning!!

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
