• Saving moolah! I am so glad that local scrapbook stores here in So Cal are now offering coupons!! You can check them all out at Desert Scrappers Retreats' blog.

  • Magical Wishes – A new paper collection fomr Webster's Pages. GORGEOUS! I normally do not go for the real ornate papers but I just love the color combos, the way the papers are laid out with the designs on the edges so you can actually SCRAP with it (as opposed to designs in the middle of the page), and just the combo of pastel colors with a little bit brighter tones (my faves). Did I mention you can win this collection? Check it all out on their blog.

  • The challenges on PageMaps. Do I win? Nope but it gets me scrapping. I've always loved sketches as a jumping off point for creating something my own. Let's face it, there's nothing new under the sun. Check out this month's contest on their blog. Here is this month's challenge sketch:

  • A new breed of challenge blog. Christine Pizzo-Spina and friends started the Scrap It Forward

blog, tying in a sketch challenge with community service. The tasks they ask participants to perform are simple. As Christine said herself, scrapping makes you feel good and helping makes you feel good – why not do them together?! You know this is right up my alley since I am always volunteering and especially in my work with Scrapbook Royalty. Here is this month's layout sketch (they have a card one on their blog as well):

  • The new Quickutz Silhouette SD. It's giving Slice and Cricut a run for their money in my opinion! I cannot wait to get my hands on one. I'm still waiting to hear back on the “Deck the Halls' Contest. Hopefully today!

Happy Scrapping!

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
