At Christmas Michael's had mini metal frames with hooks attached. They were in the clearance section for $1 each!

I picked up 4 frames and then painted them black with acrylic paint. Then I took some scraps of paper (Stampin' Up! paper I got from Maria Getz) and put that inside the frame with a diecut letter. I made one for each member of the family. Then I tied a bit of ribbon in a bow at the top of each hook and Xaver hung them in the hallway for me. This whole project cost less than $5!!

Supplies:

Frames – Michael's
Paper, Ribbon – Stampin' Up!
Diecuts- Quickutz

Happy Creating!

  3. Those are really cute. I am getting some ideas from that. Thanks.
So I have a question for you. What is the difference in the new Silhouette and the old one? Do you have both and which do you like better? I am still really interested in the silhouette, but just haven’t been able to afford it so I was just trying to figure out wha the difference in the new one was and worth the extra money. Thanks. Have a good day.

  4. Way to go! I love when something costs nothing and looks like it should have a big price tag on it!
