Join Me at Desert Scrappers Retreats May 29-June 1

I cannot wait for next weekend when I'll be at Desert Scrappers Retreats! I soooo need to get some scrapping done plus I love the pool, Laura (and I'll get to meet her new baby), hanging out with WhoGAS friends, but most of all, I LOVE the huevos rancheros from the hotel….MMmmm…MMmmMM…MMMMMMM!

The whole family is coming with me and I am excited about all the fun we will have. I will be there selling scrappy goodies and kits at my Hydrangea Hippo booth as well as teaching two classes and one make n take.

Late at night on Friday!!

Join me for a late night make n take all about your “peeps”. This book is perfect for wallet sized photos of family or friends. And you can make it coordinate with Nan's “My Peeps” class on Saturday! Make one for yourself and give the other as a gift. Sign up for this at the retreat–first come first served.

There's still time to sign up for the classes! If you aren't attending the retreat you can still check out the vendors and take the classes. All of the classes are under $20 and from some great talents like Nan Paturzo, Dawn Tumelty, and Stephanie Ackerman. Oh and me too ;)

Check out my classes below! If you sign up via the Paypal buttons under each class, I will have a little goodie for you at the retreat. Signups via Paypal must be completed by Thursday May 28 at 5pm in order to get the goodie because I will have to pack the goodies before I go:). You can also sign up at the event, you just won't get the goodie and everyone loves a freebie, right?

Have you heard of Glimmer Mist? Get familiar with one of the hottest products on the market today while creating a gorgeous scrapbook page and coordinating tag. We'll use Glimmer Chips, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Glass, and other coordinating Tattered Angels products to produce a summer themed page.

Are you anxious to start binding your own mini books? Whether you own a Bind-It-All already or you are just curious about how it works, this class is for you! Join Jennifer Priest of the Bind-It-All Design Team to explore tricks, tips, and techniques using the Bind It All. In the class you'll create your very own “Play Book” (not pictured) with directions for everything you'll ever want to do with the Bind-It-All.

About The $10 Bonus Class:
It's been said that the best way to learn something is to actually “do” it. After the “Basics” class, create a mini book using the skills you just learned. Not only will you have the instructor there to help you, you'll also have a chance to play with Zutter's newest creation, Cover-Alls! Mix various media for your pages – envelopes, acetate, chipboard, and more! We'll have an embellishment, border punch, stamp, and paper bar featuring My Mind's Eye products set up so you can create your own custom design during the class.
