Doodley Scallops


Doodling and Scalloped Borders are nothing new to scrapbooking and they are extra cute when used together! Here's an easy to way to make doodled scalloped borders using only a pen and ruler.

1. Lay the ruler parallel to the element you want the border next to.


2. Draw a line along the length of the element (a photo mat in this case) using the ruler to keep the line straight.


3. Remove the ruler and place it on the other side of the line.


4. Using the pen, draw bumps along the line, bumping into the ruler as you go along. You can draw these slower to make more even scallops or fast for more whimsical scallops.
