Hydrangea-hippo-12-days-of-minis-december-2013

Each day now through Christmas I will share a mini book – a mini scrapbook – with you that I have created! This book is meant to serve as inspiration and along the way, I will share tips, tricks, techniques, and tutorials as well as the story behind the book. My hope is that these projects inspire you! Whether you're creating a gift for someone special or looking for ideas to use in your December Daily album, this series of posts can serve as a resource for ideas for years to come.

A sandwich shaped coaster book – it's kind of a gag and can also be serious! Making this book is super easy to do with a binding machine and stickers.

I created this mini album using coasters that looked like parts of a sandwich!! It was so easy – I just bound it all together with the Bind-It-All and then added a title to the cover. I tied a couple of pieces of ribbon to the binding to give it little more character. This book would be fun to use to scrapbook a trip or about someone who loves food!

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
