Welcome to the Orange Blog Hop courtesy of Fiskateers worldwide!!! You should have just arrived from CraftySuz 6135 http://craftysuz.com. If you just happened to stumble upon my blog and want to join the Blog Hop, head on over to the Fiskateer Blog first to start going through the list.
Today I am sharing this easy little card made form scraps. I keep bags of scraps by color and cards are a great way to use them up.
I used a Fiskars Stamp Set (Farmhouse) and a corner punch (with guides removed) to make the scalloped border.
Inked up this big background stamp from the Farmhouse set with Chalk ink–it is less opaque (dark) than regular ink with a softer look. I stamped the entire card front with the stamp–background stamps are awesome for cards because they usually are slightly bigger than a regular A2 card front. And stamps can give plain cardstock new life!
After stamping I sprayed my entire card with Smooch Spritz in Gold Glow.
Then I set about adding details and decorating. Easy peasy!
I really appreciate you coming by my blog so I am giving away a RAK! You can win a set of Candy Corn Custom Colored Stick Pins from my etsy shop :)
Just leave a comment below about what projects you're working on for Fall and I'll choose one random winner on Sunday.

LOVE that flower and it looks so easy to make, yet it really makes a statement.
Candy corn stick pins huh? very cool. now I want some dang candy corn. thanks. :)
I don’t really have any fall projects, just gotta get my Christmas gifts started. I’ll be doing the glass blocks this year. Probably gonna do the frost look on some, add the lights, cut out either Merry Christmas or the family name with my cricut and some vinyl… not entirely sure yet. guess I better get started though.
Farmhouse is one of my favorite Fiskars Stamp sets. You did an incredible job with your card. I’m inspired. My next fall project is to work on my State Fair entries for scrapbooking and punch work. Of course it will be a Fiskars punch. LOL
I’m going back to Claudine Hellmuth’s online class and try to finish up – been so busy with work, garden, mom-keeping, etc.! donna m. #7352
I need to start making a magnetic organizer…yeah…I have the paper…just not the board!
ok, I had seen that Farmhouse stamp before and thought it was oK, but I must say you have me sold on it now! Beautiful work! I’m working on some Halloween ATC’s right now and haven’t decided what’s next (painting some rooms of my house may take precedence over scrapping—eek!).
Beautiful card! No fall projects for me but I am in the middle of a few sewing things.
Right now I’m working on a birthday banner for my son’s first birthday!
very cute card. Loved the flower. I’m working an ABC’ album for my grandson.
Farmhouse Stamp set would be a nice addition to my collection! : ) I am working on mini albums as gifts and I have twin granddaughters so I am always working on something for them . At the present time I am sewing their Halloween costumes. They are only 4 years old, so I am hoping that they fit them!!

Beautiful card…love the flowers. What a wonderfully, crafty, Fiskateer project. Thanks for sharing your creativity. #6243
This is indeed gorgeous but you’re not getting off this easy. How in the world do you use a corner bunch to make the scalloped border. Senior inquiring minds need to know!
Fabulous project. And thank you so much for sharing the talent and the goodies. Donna 6036
Very pretty! I too keep plastic bags full of scraps. I never reach for new paper, until I’ve exhausted my stash first. I keep the pretty new, full sheets for a specific project. Thanks for sharing, I love the little pins. I’ve never used them. Thanks for sharing!
