Here's a page I did this weekend at the little crop at my house with my WhoGAS pals!

I used the Dream Street Papers “Menagerie” collection–love it!! I picked up a couple more pieces of this paper tonight too.

Today I drove out to Now & Then Scrapbooks and dropped off my class sample–yeah, I am teaching a class there!! And I am using the Zutter Bind-It-All in the class to make the book, of course! It is apron shaped, an idea I got from my friend Elena. It folds into an easel for the book inside to rest on but it is all attached so it folds up nice too.

After spending 18 minutes on the phone with Quickutz we got my Silhouette back up and running after I messed up installing a new update. Yeah, it took a little bit but I still love the fact that I can call and leave a message and someone calls me back right away to help me out. And it was worth it to make the fun little whisks in this book!

After that I headed down to Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks in Vista to pick out some cool fun goodies to teach another class!! WOOHOO!! I am making the CUTEST holiday mini book, thanks for to Krisite D for recommending the paper. I can't wait to get started. I also got a GIGA scalloped circle punch that does 3.5″ diameter circles–it is bigger than my head! I cost a whopping $24 too and would never even fit in my drawers I am just now realizing but it is super cool and could double as a weapon or a brick if I needed one…

After Pink I met my friend Elena for some Pho. I have never had Pho before and with both kids in tow lets just say it was an “experience”. Matt now smells like meat juice. Living so far from Elena I don't get to see her much so it was fun to hang out and chit chat. She shared her fun goodies from the Quick Quotes Private Reserve Weekend she was at this past weekend — very very fun stuff!!! And of course we talked “SBR” cuz that is what we do!! Matthew wore himself out and he and Katie both passed out in the car as soon as I got on the freeway.

This week I am going to be teaching every night so I am not sure I can keep my blog updated but I will do my very very best!! Matthew has been on a rampage and I think he is starting that terrible two thing a little early so I haven't been as productive as I'd like to be but that is why I stay home I guess, so I can be here with the crazy one and just stay up until 1 am doing my scrappy stuff. Next thing I know he'll be graduating college so I guess I'd better enjoy it now. Oh and Katie's school is being stupid again about the whole GATE thing so at 7am sharp I'll be at the Principal's door tomorrow…oh the joys of being a mom!

Shopping til THEY drop has always been my motto! Sounds like you had a blast tooling around and picking up some fun stuff. And give ’em —- at the school! You have to keep them on their toes. Hope everything works out! :)

  3. Teaching every night?! I don’t know how you do it. I just finished the sample for my ONE class I’ll be teaching WITH Barbara in November and have already questioned, what did I get myself into. Good luck. I’ll miss the blogging. :) And those whisks ARE super cute.
