Woohoo!!

I just got home from a full day at Disneyland (I am so loving this annual pass thing) and though I am sunburned and tired I MUST tell you about Book Club last night. But here are a couple pics from D-land ;)

I took a 4 month hiatus from Book Club because life just got in the way and finally I am back doing it. Here is all the info for Book Club:

The Scrappin' Table

Book Club veterans were joined by some new members, including Sheila here who just started scrapping last night!?!!

Unbelieveable!! How awesome is her first page she is holding up above?

There were lots of laughs and inky fingers–fun times! I cannot wait to see what everyone brings back from their homework assignment.

You can see my inspiration page in front of Michelle, the owner of the Table, in one of the pics above. I'll be scanning my page shortly, after I correct a spelling error my friend Anne caught. One of the new things I want to do in Book Club is encourage people to enter contests. In these tough times wouldn't it be great to win a cool prize?! So this month we used the sketch from PageMaps' monthly contest as our base and now everyone in Book Club can then enter the contest after they finish their page. I'm looking for a challenge for next month so if you have some good challenge or sketch websites, please link them up here in the comments!

Until tomorrow….Happy Scrapping!

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
