Craft Fail Friday

Welcome to CraftFail Friday! The second Friday every month I will be posting a picture or video of my very own “craftfail”. A CraftFail is basically a project that went terribly wrong, usually based on an inspiration that was awesome. Search #fail or #craftfail on pinterest or twitter to see some amazing fails! But for my purposes, these fails are more about how to correct an issue as well as pulling back the curtain on the perception that professional crafters, designers, and instructors always get it “right” the first time. We don’t!!  My hope is that this will help empower and inspire you to create, even if your first attempt is not the best, as well as give you ideas on ways to overcome your own “craftfails” in order to end up with a wonderful finished project.

So here, we go!

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
