Epiphany

Here's what I've created with the Epiphany Crafts tools for CHA Summer 2010:

“Guitar”
Button Studio, Shape Studio, Button Caps, and Shape Caps – Epiphany Crafts
Paper – American Crafts, Scenic Route, Neenah
Stickers – Basic Grey
Ink – ClearSnap/Colorbox
Font – Rockwell
Trim – Joann's
Border Punch – Fiskars
Twine – Hydrangeahippo.etsy.com

Yes, you're seeing that correctly–all the paper on this layout is OLD, like 2 years old! Whatev! What is cool about the tools from Epiphany is that I can take the tinyest scraps of paper from my stash and make embellishments to make my papers that have been discontinued or are no longer available because the manufacturer has closed. No more fretting over that 3 year old paper in my stash cuz now I can easily MAKE my own CUSTOM embellies to match.

“Definitely A Monster”
Shape Studio and Shape Caps – Epiphany Crafts
Paper – Jenni Bowlin, Jillibean Soup, Basic Grey, Hambly, Bo Bunny Press,
Making Memories, GCD Studios, Cosmo Cricket
Fabric – Studio Calico
Labels – Scenic Route, Creative Imaginations
Transparency – Hambly
Rubons- Basic Grey
Paint – Making Memories
White Pen- Uni-Ball Signo
Alpha Stickers – Sassafras Lass, Making Memories, EK Success, My Little Shoebox

Well, if you thought the last layout had a lot of scraps, this one is 100% scraps!! I not only used paper (Cosmo Cricket) in the Shape Studio to make my own epoxy shapes I used some really old Hambly transparency and made CLEAR epoxy shapes from that. SOOOOOO fun!! So now I know that to do with all those Hambly transparencies I love to buy but never use.

“Relax”
Shape Studio and Shape Caps – Epiphany Crafts
Paper – Prima, Bella Blvd, Basic Grey, Sassafras Lass, Pink Paislee, American Crafts
Cardstock – Bazzill, American Crafts
Stickers – Sassafras Lass
Diecuts – Silhouette
Crepe Paper – 99 Cent Only Stores
Punches – Marvy Uchida, Martha Stewart
Pen – Uni-Ball Signo
Spray Ink – Smooch Spritz, Glimmer Mist

I just used the Epiphany Shape tools to make epoxies to match my papers using scraps from the layout. Flower centers is kind of a no-brainer for using this tool but it really makes an impact when you see it and if you like all of your stuff to match match match, then this tool is PERFECT for you!

“Banzai Boy”
Shape Studio and Shape Caps – Epiphany Crafts
Paper – Prima, Hambly, American Crafts, Neenah
Stickers – Prima, Creative Imaginations
Font – NimSun

I bet you have some of this Hambly paper in your stash. You know you do! LOL I used the graffiti style Prima paper behind the Hambly Vellum so it would partiallyshow through and then I trimmed the Hambly paper to make points, topping those with the Epiphany Crafts shapes I made with American Crafts paper. I then used American Crafts glitter paper to back the entire thing and add a little pop of color to make the Epiphany shapes stand out. This Hambly paper was really difficult to use because of the color — finally after 4 years I made it work using the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio.

Okay, that is all for today…more projects to come tomorrow!!

Happy Crafting!
