I have had a “classroom” set up in my house for almost a year now, hosted a few crops, used it to prep my classes…I keep getting asked “when are you having a class at your house?” and “when's the next crop?”

I really have no excuse…I have these awesome thick wood tables I got when Gottschalk's closed that are perfect for crafting AND we don't have to worry about messing them up. Plus concrete floors are a plus so we don't have to worry about spilling paint and stuff like that ;)

After lots of thought about how to proceed, I've decided to do a few things here in my little classroom. Our nearest scrapbook store is nearly an hour away, more if you're out in the Barstow, Lancaster, or Apple Valley areas. And though it is a great store, it is a bit far to drive on a Friday night. So I am bringing back my once a month crops starting in March.

  • Usually 4th Friday every month
  • 5pm-midnight
  • Bring a potluck dish to share plus $5
  • Prizes given out every 5th item we complete plus earn tickets for bringing a friend and for every item you complete
  • Etsy Shop will be open ;)
  • Pretty much the same as last year
  • I'll coordinate these with Aprile's Attic so you can come to both crops and don't have to miss a thing ;)

Upcoming Dates:

  • March 26
  • April 23
  • May 28
  • June 25

The bigger thing I am going to do is …

Each month I will have at least ONE meeting at my house for Club Create. So what is Club Create? It's where we get together and “Create” something!

We have no store here, no place to get together and learn and create other than cropping at each other's homes.

Having classes at my house gives me a lot more creative freedom because we can use finds from my stash, try new things that don't necessarily fit into the mold of “scrapbooking”, and steer the class towards things you want to learn.
So what's the cost? It is $15 each month to belong to Club Create and that includes the supplies we'll use for the project that month. You may need to bring some supplies for larger projects or pay a materials fee but I'll tell you all of that upfront when each club meeting is announced. I want this club to be affordable, for you to use your stash if you want, and for you to be able to still learn and get something for your money.

As a Club Create member you'll receive a discount on all of your purchases from my Etsy Shop. Each month you join, your discount increases until you earn one month FREE!!

Club Create March:
The first meeting is all about Copic Markers. I'll have Copic Markers available for use, you can pre-order them from me, or you can bring your own. March 18th, 6:30pm.

Club Create April:
Have a Quickutz Silhouette? Want one? We'll use the Silhouette to create several projects, including a yard wrapped wreath for Spring!!
