For Caleb

We welcomed little “Caleb” into the world almost 6 weeks ago! One more nephew :) and the last grandkid unless I get some wild hair and decide to have more kidlets. Yikes!

I decided to make a little banner to hang above his crib using some Clear Scraps Mini Banner pages from one of their mini books. I had so much fun creating this banner!!!

I hooked the pages together with brass rings and tied loads of ribbon and chenille stems onto them. I layered on punched circles, felt accents, chipboard stickers, and buttons — so love chunky full layers on projects!! I added rub-ons to two acrylic arrows to make them stand out from the acrylic pennants as accents. I inked the diecut chipboard letters by Pink Paislee with ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink to make them match the papers I used. I sprayed the acrylic pennants with Smooch Spritz, painted them, inked them, and then splattered them with more acrylic paint. I had a blast!!!
