It's getting time again to make greeting cards for the troops overseas as part of Scrapbook Royalty's annual Holiday Cards for Troops campaign. This year we are launching a “Noble Gifts From the Heart” event where you can give in many ways during the holidays — our Cards for Troops campaign is just one way to participate.

I recently completed a layout using Reminisce's new paper line “Frosted” as a design team assignment for The Scrappin' Table in Placentia, CA. I made these cards from the scraps and leftover stickers:

I plan to send these cards to Scrapbook Royalty as part of the Cards for Troops campaign. Soldiers stationed overseas will then be able to fill out the cards and send them home to family to let them know how they are doing. What a great way to use scraps, right?!

For more info on how you can participate, please visit the Scrapbook Royalty blog. Better yet, sign up for our email newsletter while on the blog so you'll be the first to know what we're doing and how you can be a part of it!

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
