I was honored when the peeps at Crafted allowed me to create wreaths for the doors of Warehouse 10 this holiday season!!

Katie, Xaver, Denise, and I all made cones for the wreaths from old encyclopedia pages over the last few weeks and on Wednesday,Katie and I assembled 5 wreaths together! Katie did most of  the spray painting after a short primer from me – first with a coat of metallic gold from RustOleum and then a dusting of Krylon GlitterBlast in Gold. Then I added all the frilly goodies and vintage style “Joy” and “Peace” phrases. The Crafted staff hung the wreaths above each of the 5 main doors into the warehouse using a scissor lift late Wednesday night. It was really a cool thing to see my wreaths up in the warehouse like that!!!

We've created a number of fun wreaths in the same vein in different sizes, including a wreath made almost entirely of maps from encyclopedias!! Come on down and check them out in our booth, #A140, any Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Looking for a custom wreath? Just contact me via the convo system on etsy or send me an email via the contact form on my blog (above) :)

Happy Holidays!
