Tiny alphabet stickers are readily available at most scrapbook stores in black, white, and even some in color. You know the ones I'm talking about, the ones with typewriter type letters on a little itty bitty rectangle sticker? I like the ones made by Making Memories and EK Success the best.

These stickers are pretty cute on their own but sometimes I feel they just don't “fit” my layout. Yesterday as I was glimmer misting some Prima flowers for a page I was working on it occured to me that I could possibly glimmer mist some of the letters I wanted to use so they'd match the feel of the layout. Here's the “how to”:

1. Stick your stickers to a piece of plastic. You can even use the back from an old, empty sticker pack if you have one. You want to make sure the stickers will peel off the plastic later.

2. Spray your glimmer mist as desired. You can use a heat gun to help it dry faster just be careful not to melt the plastic – it can release harmful fumes not to mention mess up your stickers if they get melted into it.

3. Dab off the excess glimmer mist with a paper towel. The mist on the plastic won't dry so make sure you remove it before staining your hands or clothes. Let the stickers dry completely before peeling them from the plastic. Then stick to your project:

I inked these with some distress ink as well to make them look more antiqued like the rest of the page elements. Have fun with this one!!
