It's Glue Arts Adhesives week for the Epiphany Crafts Design Team–we got some super fun adhesive from Glue Arts to play with. I love trying new products! And boy, was I surprised by the Extreme Adhesive Squares!! They are EXTREME!!
I've had a canvas I have been working on fixing for sometime. Every kind of glue has failed and this little guy has been sitting on a shelf in my hallway in need of new embellies and alot stronger adhesive to hold on the existing elements, like the acrylic border across the bottom of the photo. I knew if there was ever a test for these EXTREME Adhesive Squares, it was this project!

The first thing I did was repair all the elements that had torn from other adhesives failing, such as the acrylic border across the bottom of the photo.
This revised canvas has already been hanging on the wall for a few days and it has held!! I am completely amazed and impressed!! Those Glue Arts EXTREME Adhesive Squares really ARE EXTREME!!!
Before hanging my canvas on the wall I added a few more decorative elements. I used the epiphany Crafts tools to create several epoxy shapes:
From this 3″ x 2″ scrap of double sided paper I was able to create the following embellishments with my Epiphany Crafts Shape and Button Tools:
  • TWO Heart 25 Epoxies
  • THREE Round 14 Buttons
  • THREE Heart 20 Buttons
  • TWO Punched Circles using the Round 20 Button Tool

Yes, you can use your Epiphany Crafts tools without the insert or caps/buttons and they function just like a regular paper punch. So you're getting two tools in one really– a punch and a button/epoxy tool. Here is the scrap of paper I used to make all of these embellishments:

Really, Epiphany Crafts tools make your embellishments cost pennies!! This is normally a scrap of paper I would have thrown away.

I used more of the Glue Arts EXTREME Adhesive Squares to attach the embellishments I made to the canvas. The Glue Arts EXTREME Adhesive Squares come in several sizes so you can choose the size that best matches your embellishments. I also used them to attach some Jenni Bowlin embellished butterflies to the canvas. Even though all of the Epiphany Crafts embellishments are lightweight, this canvas hangs in my hallway where it will have people brushing against it in addition to just the force of gravity pulling on the embellies. It is important to have a durable, long-lasting and strong adhesive on this kind of project and the Glue Arts EXTREME Adhesive Squares were just the ticket.

Here's the final product and I am confident, those embellies are on there to stay!!:

Happy Scrapping!
