I Scrapped!

This weekend I got some scrapping done, just for me. It is pretty rare these days that I make pages that are “personal”, not to fulfill a Design Team assignment — it's all a matter of time, no time to just sit back and create for no reason but to have fun.

I actually put a self-imposed moratorium on ordering new prints of my digital photos until I get my two overflowing photo boxes of pics all scrapped. So I made a bit more progress this weekend:

I even used some stash on this one above and some diecuts for my new challenge this week — I have had those Sassafras flowers forever!

Supplies:
Diecuts -My Little Shoebox (blue with red lines journal spot), Sassafras Lass (flowers), October Afternoon (Arrow, Luggage Tag)
Paper – Sassafras Lass
Alphas – My Little Shoebox, American Crafts
Stickers – Sassafras Lass (orange circle), October Afternoon (green hikers)
Brads – Bo Bunny Press
Ribbon – Michael's

I just love this new October Afternoon paper! I got it at Scrapbook Oasis — love the pattern and color. I also used 100% scraps on this except for the background PP (which I just bought).

Supplies:
Tag – Unknown
Paper – October Afternoon, Making Memories, Bo Bunny, SEI, Bazzill
Alphas – Jenni Bowlin
Brads – Basic Grey
Diecuts – Silhouette
Punches – Martha Stewart, Marvy Uchida

I saw a cool digi layout with squares of paper (each was individually decorated) last week over at scrapbook.com–so cute! So I interpreted it on my own page, no decorated squares, but I kind of like this square thing! This is new Studio Calico and My Little Shoebox papers I got from Scrapbook Oasis. I also used lots of goodies from my “need to put away” giant ziploc baggie –I am trying to take that with me to crops so I can use instead of put away ;)

Supplies:
Paper – My Little Shoebox, Studio Calico, Bo Bunny Press
Journal Spot – Jillibean Soup
Alphas – Prima
Button – American Crafts
Cardstock – Bazzill, Core'dinations (got for free at the crop I was at)

I just love this paper!! Matt's shirt was a total disaster in these pics and I had sat on them for almost a year waiting to scrap them. I just really used a TON of orange and then yellow and pink to help pull the orange from the pics and make that the focus. The borders, orange PP, and pink diecut border are all scraps from my stash –woohoo!

Supplies:
Paper – Sassafras Lass, My Little Shoe box, Bo Bunny Press
Stickers – October Afternoon, KI Memories (block alpha), American Crafts (blue script alpha)
Brads – Bo Bunny Press
Punches – Martha Stewart, Stampin' Up!
Cardstock – Bazzill

And finally a two pager ;) I used alot of Studio Calico's new collection but found it REALLY matches some of the paper from Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry collection that I had floating in my crop bag. There's also lots of scraps from my “put away” ziploc on here.

Supplies:
Paper – Studio Calico, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket (people in boat)
Diecuts – Silhouette
Twine – Hydrangea Hippo
Alphas – American Crafts, My Little Shoebox
Stickers – Studio Calico

Hope you're getting lots done this year, digging into your stash and getting caught up. If you need some time to crop, come on over to my next monthly crop on May 7th, here at my house in Hesperia. Sign up over on the lefthand column or email me. See you soon and…

Happy Scrapping!
