Three years ago I went to my first ever Survivor Crop and said I would never ever ever ever EVER do this again. The 24 hours is too long and I was super cranky (those of you who know me know I really need my sleep) and I drank a Roack Star which made me really ill. I just can't hang!!

But then Elena said Scrapbook Royalty was going to Survivor Crop this year-WHAT?! So OF COURSE I had to go again!

I am STILL recovering but I have to say this year was pretty good–our group is what makes it the best because we get and give TONS of gifts and everyone in our crew is just a ball of laughs. We had so many people we had to get TWO islands!

After sleeping almost all of yesterday after driving 2.5 hours home (took an hour longer since I was driving at granny speed cuz I was tired) and sleeping all of last night I am ALMOST recovered. And I told Elena she can't ask me to do it again until at least 2012. I can't take the lack of sleep and I even took a little nap! The thing is, you stay up because you don't want to miss anything. The real mayhem happens in the wee hours of the morning and that is when you'll gte the best pics and video to hold over your friends' heads! LOL With that said, there are a few pics and videos that will not be appearing on my blog becuase they are just not PG — hehe. I finally tried Chambord too. You can put two and two together!

The day started aout at Ever After for breakfast and a make n take. Then we drove over to the event location in stages — each group was allowed to go a few people at a time. I didn't take my camera out until later so here are some of the highlights:

Elena and Jesse — always fun and the life of the party these two!! Check out the fun flipflips one of the committe members made for each of us!!

Nan came to the event in the afternoon — so nice to see the head Zutter Zister in person!! She did a make n take at the Ever After store using the new Zutter Cover-Alls. They are awesome!! I cannot wait to use them in a class or make n take. And they are affordable, especially for gifts–think Christmas!

A local TV news crew came to shoot some video of the event so we turned up the music to get everyone to dance. Next thing you know, our table starts a dance train and everyone joins in going around the entire warehouse! It was pretty fun, ending with a limbo pole we made from “bangers” that came in our welcome kit.

Our tables teamed up together to complete a Halloween Challenge. We had to use “Halloween Leopard” Paper — no easy task!! We each made one square to go on this banner. I did the “O”:

Sir Mix Alot + A Roomful of Sleepy Women + A Whole Lotta Stuffin' =

Around 3am is the pickle eating contest. Here are the only semi-safe pics to post. Oh my goodness!!

The next morning things were pretty thrashed…and the islands were all pretty empty. Here are our two islands around 830am Sunday:

I'll post pics of all our loot later. The ladies who were atour tables are naturally generous, being that we all volunteer our time and donate money to Scrapbook Roylaty and the causes it supports on a regular basis for the last few years. So you can imagine the fun gifts we made a traded with one another!! I made a sign in book for each person that we decorated and then each put our photo and a little messgae in for each person. That was alot of Zuttering! I can't wait to take pics of the big box of funness I brough home!!

Love all the SBR crew and committee!! The ladies got together and PAID for me to have a massage!! I so needed it too. It just makes me realize what a great group of friends I have and how much of a privelege it is to be a part of SBR. Anyone can be a part of it too – just email us to volunteer and you will make life long friends besides just feeling great about giving to charity.

You can see more pics on Elena's blog. Like the one of me trying to catch up on our little year books I made for everyone!! I made these little sign in books (with the Bind It All of course) for each of the TWENTY people at our tables with 20 pages in each for people to pass around and have the other attendees sign. Well, I left to help teach one of Ever After's make n takes and then I had a massage and I came back to a pile!! At first i was just going to the back of each book and making my page but then they started looking familiar so I flipped through the front of the books to see if I had already done some….and I HAD!!! Melanie and Elena kept putting books I had already done BACK in my “to do” pile!! Weiners.

I also learned alot about breast cancer as well. And I made some new friends like Audrey and chatted with some old friends around the room. Gotta run to pick up Katie from school now…Chat with you all later!
