I’m alive!

I just got back from my altered canvas class at Scrapbook Boulevard. I almost thought I was not going to be able to teach it–I have had a 100 fever for the last 5 days because I have bronchitis and a sinus infection–another victim of this flu going around. But thankfully I am alive! I can finally breathe again, if only through one nostril. LOL …better than yesterday!

And the class was great too–my first one there. Went totally smooth, all the ladies in the class were so nice. They did an awesome job on the class as well. It was also really nice to be home from the class in 5 minutes. That was really really nice!

I got some scrapping done today–I had to take full advantage of feeling better because I was scrap-less all week since I was laid up in bed. And I did a little scrapping yesterday too, putting the finishing touches on the sample for my Disney Magic class at The Scrappin' Table scheduled for April 19th (now on display in the store):

And then I finished off this Tilano Fresco Canvas Tile project I've been working on for Scrapbook Boulevard for the last 2 months. I was in a total creative funk about it and then I went to CHA. PJ showed me the Ranger booth with their display of altered canvases and I finally got some inspiration. The sample is in the store and the class will be March 30. Exact details will be released soon (when I figure them out ;) ). I used Ranger crackle paint, distress inks, and some other fun techniques I picked up at CHA!!!

And THEN I did my layout for my first ever 100% Quickutz Silhouette class! I'll also be teaching this at Scrapbook Boulevard on April 20th. We'll be using the Silhouette to do the title and the swirls on the page. You don't need a Silhouette to do the class–we'll just be using mine if you don't have one. And since I have had so many requests for Western or Cowboy themed classes, here's one. You can choose from Cowgirl or Cowboy papers in the class. I've only got room for 10 so don't miss out! We'll be using SEI velvet/suede paper, Hambly, and of course, the Silhouette!

Here's a little snapshot of a piece of it:

An update on Mission Organization: It was kind of halted due to CHA. And all the loot I brought back seriously set me back about 10 years as far as this organizing is going. But there is good news!!! The Heidi Swapp mini piercing tool has been located!! I put it in such a safe place even I could not find it. I used it to put the brads in the layout sample for my Silhouette class. One item down, 4 more to go….I want to find those black sticker letters, even if it kills me!

Off to bed–gotta rest up for my class on Sunday! Hopefully I'll see you there.
