USA Peeps:
Hi everyone! My name is Audrey Pettit and I live in Cary, North Carolina with my two adorable teenage kiddos and our sweet golden retriever pup. I work part-time as a writer and photographer, and enjoy reading, antiquing, spending time with my family, and of course, everything relating to paper. My passion for papercrafting began twelve years ago after being invited to a friend's home stamping party. Although starting as a card-maker, over the years my interests have segued into scrapbooking and altered projects, as well. I love trying new techniques and sharing, and I am so honored to be a part of the Donna Salazar Designs Design Team.
My name is Cheryl Waters and I reside in beautiful South Orange County, California. I am married (17 years) and have one beautiful, fun-loving nine year old daughter who brightens my life. I have a very close knit family and the family unit both in genealogy and my church family, is very important to me. I love spending time with my family and I love the outdoors. I also enjoy doing charity work and attempting to give back to my community. I hope that as I cross paths with others that both will be blessed and lives enriched. I know that I am truly blessed! I work in law enforcement and in the scrapbooking community. I love to be around people and embrace their differences.
My name is Jennifer Priest, a papercrafter in Southern California. I love spending time with my 2 kids, sometimes crafty hubby, and 2 dogs. I enjoy a great comedy, day trips to craft fairs, and enjoying time with my friends and family as much as I can. In my papercrafting, I'm all about clean lines and bright colors with a touch of whimsy but I am not afraid to get my hands a little inky and painty. My giddiness over wit and tongue in cheek humor comes through on many of my projects – the more unexpected, the better. I keep busy with teaching paper crafting classes online and all over the Southwest United States (CA, NM, AZ) as well as run a small little etsy shop, Hydrangea Hippo. I am also one-third of the partnership behind Art-Full Horizons crafting events – our first event is this May, featuring classes from both Donna Salazar and I. I am also blessed to work on design teams for several manufacturers as well as work as Donna's DT Coordinator.
Greetings, I am Karen Taylor and I live in Southwest Missouri with my super awesome husband Andy. We have two wonderful children Jessie and Douglas. We were blessed with our first grandson almost two years ago and we have a sweet little baby girl on the way. I have been a paper craftier for six years but creating has always been a part of my life. I was raised by my grandmother who taught me the love of creating. Inspired by her 1930's scrapbooks I love all things vintage and old. When I am at home you can find me in my studio creating my mini pieces of art.
Hello, my name is Kim Faucher. I am an artist, a wife, mother, autism advocate, shop a holic, coffee addict and amateur nature photographer. I love to laugh, have fun with friends and relax with my family. Currently, I am going back to art school at Rhode Island School of Design where I am pursuing a degree in Drawing and Painting studies. I have been active in the scrapbook/crafts industry for around 10 years and am passionate about making crafts and sharing with others. I alter everything, love working with scraps of paper and fabric and have a bit of this shabby/grungy/girlie style. I am so excited and honored to be a part of Donna Salazars Designs and work with such amazing teammates.
Hi! My name is Natasha and I'm the mother of two wonderful children and the wife of an amazing and supportive man. I am a floral designer by day and a scrapaholic by night! I began scrapping in June 2010 after my husband convinced me to start creating. If it weren't for him I would have never been able to begin doing what I love. I am honored to be a part of this team of talented designers and I look forward to sharing my work with you all. :o)
Sarah Mullanix – Indiana
Hello, my name is Sarah Mullanix and I'm a stay at home mom to my 3 kids, Becca 14, Emily 10, and Carter is 2. I have been scrapbooking for over 14 years now, and I have been designing and teaching classes for about 5 years. I love the creative outlet that I get from scrapbooking just as much as creating beautiful albums full of memories for myself and my family. I love how many friends I have made through scrapbooking, and I'm just thrilled to have this opportunity!
I'm super stoked to be a part of the Donna Salazar design team!! I always make time each day for art and believe in living with the motto to “find inspiration everyday everywhere“. I started scrapbooking 15+ years ago and I've been addicted since the beginning. I have a strong passion for life art, lots of creative spirit, and am fearless in working with new products and techniques. My style would be defined as blending the old with the new along with lots of attention to detail plus some stamping usually thrown into the mix.
International Peeps:
Hello! My name is Jessy Christopher. I am a preschool teacher & an avid scrapbooker in Malaysia. Married to my sweetheart for 5 years now & we have 2 fur-babies. I started off with digital & hybrid scrapbooking and finally ventured into paper scrapbooking in the early of 2008. What I love the most about scrapbooking is the freedom to express myself. I am truly honored to be a part of Donna's team and look forward to challenging myself as well as inspiring you.
My passion/obsession with crafting started in 2004 and so far shows no sign of “wearing off”. In the daytime I work in the Customer Relations Department for the biggest cruise company in the World, Carnival so in my spare time, crafting is the best “therapy” to keep me happy and sane. There is nothing like getting messy and having glitter and glue stuck to your elbow…. I am delighted to be working with Donna’s products as they perfectly fit my shabby/quirky style of crafting.
Monika Martinson – Sweden
My name is Monika Martinson (Moma on the net). I live in Sweden, just outside of Stockholm with my daughter and her father. I work full time at one of Sweden’s biggest companies with communication. I started scrapbooking shortly after my daughter was born in 2004 and I´ve been totally addicted since then. A day without scrapbooking just doesn´t exist.
And now to announce the SPECIAL position!
I have started something new called the Mentorship Program. Each year (if I have applicants who are under 18) I will choose one person for this spot. This is more of a sponsorship than a DT position. The Mentee won't be “required” to do any work and will get their product a little later than the rest of the team but this person will be fully stocked with all things Donna Salazar. I actually wasn't going to have any minors on the team (because they can't sign a contract) but this person's work really stood out from among all the applicants and he is a sweetie to boot… He has his own Youtube channel, his own blog, his own site and he sells his projects on e-Bay. I was really impressed with him. OK enough with the suspense.
The person who will be in my Mentorship Program this year is…
Hi, my name is Andrew Scott but I like to go by Drew for short. I started scrapbooking Christmas 2009 and haven't even thought about stopping since. My style is everywhere from vintage, shabby chic, clean, simple, colorful; I let the paper tell me what to do with it. I love what I do and hope to have a company like Donna Salazar some day!!
