Xaver recently got me a new purse with a matching wallet and checkbook:

I call it my “Scrapbook Paper” purse since it reminds of me Cosmo Cricket Mr. Campy paper, K & Co, and just fun fun scrapbook paper! Literally EVERY DAY I get asked about where I bought or get a great compliment about my purse–it is really nice to hear that!!

I popped into Shop Suey Boutique (behind Collective Journey in Redlands), where we bought the purse, and asked them if I could take a few of their biz cards with me to pass out since everyone is always asking about the pruse. After last night, I am now down to one business card!! LOL

They had the same pattern of purse as I have in a couple different shapes and sizes plus they have lots of other fun, unique handbags, accessories, and clothing. I didn't see my particular purse in their shop online so maybe they have different stuff in store so check it out if you want a “scrapbook paper” purse too.

On Monday August 17 Shop Suey Boutique is teaming up with Collective Journey and some other stores in Redlands to do a limo tour. It's worth checking out:

From what I understand, it is free; you just park at one of the stores and wait for a limo to arrive–they come every 10 mins or something like that. Then they will take you around to all the stores and then back to where you started. You might want to call one of the stores to make sure what the deal is and to check if signups are needed. Collective Journey ph: 909-793-2200.

I heard it was pretty fun the last time they did it. And maybe you'll score yourself a “scrapbook paper” purse like me ;)

Enjoy!

  3. Jennifer, Thanks for your kind comment on the Pink Challenge blog! I got a full-time job and don’t get around to classes as often, but I hope to see you soon. Love all your tutorials – very generous.

Also, love that purse. Yea, new place to check out when scrapping at CJ!

Any suggestions on a reasonably priced sewing machine for scrapping and mending – nothing real heavy duty.
