Patchwork

We went to Patchwork yesterday and roasted! It was all worth it though ;)

The Craft Fair was HUGE — the last time I had gone was in 2008 and it was just big enough to fill a small parking lot. Now it filled the parking lots and spilled onto an entire street!!

One of the coolest things was that I got to see lots of friends from the scrappy community: Chelle, Victoria, Tran, Grace, Jessica, Tricia to name a few….sooo cool! Most of them found out about it through Facebook–love that networking!

One of the biggest reason I go to these Craft Fairs is to get inspiration. Sure, shopping is great and I got some cool stuff, but my real purpose in going is to get inspiration from “outside” the scrappy world. Here's some of the pics my photographer (Xaver) got for us to be inspired by (plus some of my family;) ):

Katie got this fun hairclip from this shop: Nina Brito tacosneggrolls.etsy.com

Katie wanted all the vintage stuff!

Just what every guy needs: a leather beer cozy?!

We got some of this honey–sooooooo super delicious!

Of course Matt saw the chocolates by C Salt–yummy! 714-402-2363 in Long Beach

Got a gift for someone special here: flyingcupclay.com

Cooper got a new collar here that Katie picked out: sophiesthreads.etsy.com

These really cool shadowboxes/paintings and jewelry were from chantal defelice — totally want to get some!! www.chantaldefelice.com

Just in case you missed it, there's another one June 27th in Long Beach and then two more in November. Check it all out on the Patchwork website. And since I did not get cards from everyone and then I forgot to put them in order, well, you can just check out the vendors at the Patchwork website too. If there is a specific pic you have a question about , leave a comment and I will try to figure out the shop name ;)

Hope you're inspired ;)
