Personally

When this scrapbooking thing is your job, your business, your work, sometimes you don't get YOUR stuff done. I really try to not let that kind of thing happen to me and I try to be really aware of what I am doing since so many people in this “industry” say they never get any of their own stuff done. Sometimes things fall through the cracks! Here are some pages I have been working on, the “crack fallers”:

“Waking Up Happy” was a page I taught in my Six Months In A Day layouts class in 2007. I knew I wanted to use these pics and was SURE I had printed them out…I just needed to find them so I could put them on the page. Last week I finally gave up and ordered the prints again. Check that off my list! LOL

“School Play” was a page I started right after The Scrappin' Table in Placentia opened, somewhere early 2008. All it needed was a title and a place for the program — sometimes I need to remind MYSELF that I need to just stick it down and move on! Everything does not need to be a masterpiece to be in my book–it just needs to tell the story :)

“Friends” was started for the American Crafts Design team call. Missed the deadline. So I decided to use it for a layout contest they were doing. Missed that deadline. So I was gonna do it as a page in a class. Forgot about it in an Art Bin for a few months. I just found it last weekend and finally finished it. And the photo? From 2003 or 2004!!

“Cheesin'” was a layout I did in Kelly Purkey's class at Reflections — I added some stuff, changed a few minor things and finally got these pics finished completely!

That's all for today.

Happy Scrapping!!
