Pink Christmas

Pink Pineapple has got me into the Christmas spirit! The Design Team has been hard at work creating Christmas pages for the store as well as yummy gifties and projects for the “Holiday Hoopla” event on December 12th. It's only $75 and you get 5 classes, one each from Ally Serrato, Leah Fung, Carrie Elias, Dee Stevens and me ;) Just call the store at 760-598-2222 to sign up now!

Here are a couple of the layouts I created for Design Team this month (all the goodies can be found at Pink):

These pics are from our annual ornament shopping trip. This year we went to Collective Journey in Redlands to get our ornaments–lots of fun! The kids each got something unique that matched their personality. It's a tradition I started last year–I take all the kids (mine & the nephews) to pick one really nice ornament. I tag it with the year and it goes up on the tree. Then it goes into a special box. When the kids turn 18 or get married (haven't figured out which yet) they will get the box with all the ornaments they collected during their childhood. It's never too late to start a fun tradition!

This weekend I will be at the San Diego Scrap Inn with a bunch of friends, scrapping the weekend away. Plus, since I am already down in SD, why not do a class at Pink Pineapple? Check out the “Family Blessings” class I have scheduled for Saturday (in column on left).

Happy Scrapping!

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
