Spring Break Project

The kids will likely be off school and home for a week sometime between now and Easter. Here's a fun, easy project to do with them that's a keepsake as well.

I created this fun wall hanging in a few simple steps:

Acrylic Paint – Making Memories
Canvas Page, Paper, Alphas, Twill Tape, Animal Diecut – Prima
Thread – Joann's
Adhesive – Aleene's No-Sew Glue
Spray Ink – Glimmer Mist

  1. Paint the child's hand with acrylic paint and press into the canvas.
  2. Allow to dry overnight.
  3. Add a hanger by threading twill tape through the large rivets and stitching together.
  4. Add letters, punched stars, or other embellies as desired.
  5. I added a little paint to the edges of the canvas and some spritzes of spray ink for a little more distressing.

Happy Crafting!
