RIBBON CUTTING

Friday, June 29th:

Main Event: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with LA Deputy Mayor Matt Karatz, LA City Council Member Joe Buscaino, Port of LA Executive Director Geraldine Knatz, Commissioner David Arian, and founders, Wayne Blank, Alison Zeno and Howard Robinson.

Event Schedule: 
10:30am – Public is welcome on-site for the Ribbon Cutting.
11:00am – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony begins.
11:15am – CRAFTED is officially open.
12:00pm – Musical performance by Alicia Murphy.
2:00pm – Craft demonstration.
5:00pm – Musical performance by Alicia Murphy.
7:00pm- Marketplace closes. Great time to visit Cars & Stripes up the street and catch the fireworks.

All Day Events: Food Trucks, Creation Station, Craft Tables.
Daily Food Trucks: CreativEats, El Burger Luchador, FlatIron Truck, Flavor Rush, Fox Pizza Bus, Tornado Potato.

Saturday, June 30th:

Main Event: Concert performed by The Lonely Wild with the Silverlake Contemporary Ballet.

Event Schedule: 
10:00am – Marketplace opens.
10:00am – Pony Rides open.
1:00pm – Hair demonstration by a Hollywood celebrity hairstylist.
3:00pm – Pony Rides close.
5:00pm – The Lonely Wild performs with theSilverlake Contemporary Ballet.
7:00pm – Marketplace closes.

All Day Events: Food Trucks, Creation Station, Craft Tables, Drawing Machine by Steve Craig.
Daily Food Trucks: Auntie's Fry Bread, George's Greek Truck, Heirloom LA, Holy Aioli, Slammin' Sliders.

Sunday, July 1st:

Main Event: Craft Beer Tasting hosted by theSan Pedro Brewing Co. with a music set by DJ Ernie G.

Event Schedule:
10:00am – Marketplace opens.
10:00am – Pony Rides open.
2:00pm – Craft Beer Tasting begins with San Pedro Brewing Co. & DJ Ernie G.
3:00pm – Pony Rides close.
6:00pm – Craft Beer Tasting ends.
7:00pm – Marketplace closes.

All Day Events: Food Trucks, Creation Station, Craft Tables.
Daily Food Trucks: Crepe'n Around, FlatIron Truck, No Tomatoes!, Nom Nom Truck, Ragin' Cajun, Slammin' Sliders.

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
