Stuck on Cabbages

Got a little more scrapping done. DD started school this again this morning so it is back to the regular schedule. Here are a couple pages I did this weekend:

Stuck on Who?

I did this one for my daughter–she could not stop talking about who her teacher might be for this coming school year. We had “Meet the Teacher” night last week and she was a little disappointed that her teacher was not her same teacher from last year but she is in a much more advanced class, mixed with 6th graders, and her classroom is right next door to her old teacher so she can visit. I could only get her to pose next to the door but I got a good shot of her nervous little feet.

This page is for two challenges: Category Stories (theme “Stuck In A Moment”) and for the Scrapbook.com 3×3 challenge (3 b+W photos, monochromatic embellies, and 3 word title).

Supplies:

Paper – Teresa Collins
Gems – Creative Imaginations
Journal Spots – Jenni Bowlin, Scenic Route
Stamps – Scenic Route
Ink – Stampin' Up!
Diecuts – Quickutz
Cardstock- Bazzill
Alphas – Jenni Bowlin, Teresa Collins (cut from paper), American Crafts
Desk Sticker – Jolee's Boutique
Epoxy Star Buttons – Making Memories
Welcome to the Cabbage Patch

I created this next page at the crop at The Scrappin' Table last Friday night. PJ and I were practically rolling on the floor laughing while I tried to put it together. I was going to go with the title “Deez Cabbages” but Michelle from the Table said she'd never put it up in the store if I used that title. So I had to go with “Welcome to the Cabbage Patch”. Thanks for all your help Peej! It came out better than I thought it would — I've been dying to scrap this hilarious photo for over a year! LOL Thanks Michelle for letting me put it up at your store–we all gotta laugh sometimes you know?! I love that you totally get my humor (hehehe). I did this page for the sketch challenge #121 over at MojoHolder:

Here are some more details of the page:
I actually made cabbages from lace! I tried with torn paper and that was tooo tedious and then someone suggested ribbon or something and I had this lace from the PDW kit that was perfect, the right color and everything! I could do a cabbage tutorial but really, how many people need pages about cabbages?! ME! lol

Supplies:

Paper – Cosmo Cricket
Cardstock – Bazzill Bling
Lace – Polka Dot Whimsy July 2009 Kit
Tiny Alphas – EK Success
Journal Spots – K & Co, Making Memories
Pen – American Crafts
Ink – Colorbox
Pearls – Kaiser Craft
Chipboard Alphas – American Crafts
Star Diecut – My Mind's Eye
Punch – Martha Stewart

Off to see what the boy is doing–he is awfully quiet…

Happy Creating!
