I am sooooo excited!! I just put the finishing touches on our kits (see above). You'll get to choose from either “girl” or “boy” theme this time around. Each one is a little different and special in its own way–if you've taken a class from me you know this is how I like to do things! LOL I know we only have 2 hours but it will be jam packed!!

Our first meeting is this Wed night from 7-9pm. at the Scrappin' Table in Placentia. Bring your basic class supply kit–our “make n take” is going to be a two pager–I'm starting the club off with a bang! We won't be doing as big of projects (more like we will be playing with new tools, techniques, and products) in the future but since this book club cycle is all about layouts, we're going to start it off with a layout! If you can, bring a project or page with you to share.

We're using Hillary Heidelberg‘s newest book, Scrap Simple, to create fast, simple pages that look like a million bucks. We'll concentrate on one chapter each month–you'll have to come to Book Club to find out which chapter we are doing first!! Here is one of Hillary's layouts for inspiration and kind of a sneak peek at what we'll be doing as our make n take–it's just a hint!!

Come on time because we have some administrative stuff to take care of (email lists and so on) so we can get this show on the road and start getting inspired!

I can't wait!! Oh, and I'll even have a few prizes to give out–good ones too!! There are a couple of spots left so give the Table a call at (714) 961-8011 to sign up. I have kits already made so you can even sign up at 7pm and your kit will be ready and waiting. Once the spots are gone, they're gone until we start the next cycle in June. See you tomorrow!!
