A long time ago, I used to be on the blogging team for Tombow. With their newest DT call out, I was so superexcited! Earlier this year I was invitied to be part of Sticky U and try Tombow's new Xtreme adhesive. I remember starting my papercrafting journey with Tombow, which we all considered the gold standard, back in the day and their new adhesive formula, Xrteme, is their best yet! My application follows here …

Project #1 – Dia De Los Muertos Vase

This vase project features one of my favorite techniques with glue – crepe paper rosettes with a glittered edge. The glittered edge is achieved by dredging the rosettes in glue and then sprinkling on glitter. It's incredibly fun! Check out this post here: Dia De Los Muertos Vase

Project #2 – DIY Altered Wood Box

This wood box project features decoupage, one of my favorite techniques to do with glue! The layers are achieved with decoupaged paper, stencils, and ink for a fun look on an otherwise drab box. Read more here: DIY Altered Wood Box

Project #3 – Hawaii Scrapbook

I love scrapbooking so I thought it fitting to close this application with a scrapbook. I made this one for my parents to remember their trip to Hawaii, using lots of fabulous things to embellish the cover, from a painted tiki head to flowers and more. Thank you for checking out my application! I look forward to seeing who Tombow chooses to move on in future rounds and represent the company on their blog.

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
