Each day now through Christmas I will share a mini book – a mini scrapbook – with you that I have created! This book is meant to serve as inspiration and along the way, I will share tips, tricks, techniques, and tutorials as well as the story behind the book. My hope is that these projects inspire you! Whether you're creating a gift for someone special or looking for ideas to use in your December Daily album, this series of posts can serve as a resource for ideas for years to come.

One of the best things about creating Christmas mini albums is that you can use ornaments and decor in them! I love all the fab mini ornaments available, there are lots of tinsels and trims, and they are all at a great price. Dollar Tree is by far one of my favorite places to get fun ornaments to dress up mini albums.

Hobby Lobby also has lots of great miniatures, like the tiny velvet bow on the cover of this album:

Can you spot the “scrapbooking” embellishments versus Christmas ornaments on these pages?

Before you put away your ornaments or forego the ornament clearance sales, consider looking at those goodies in a new light – as embellishments! And consider using Christmas decor as embellies!

Tomorrow, I'll be sharing another mini and more tips!! Let's get crafty together ;)

Thanks for stopping by!
