People are always asking about how to use the Epiphany Crafts Button and Shape Tools–they are super easy!

I thought a great way to share that with you would be to share how I used them to make pepperonis on this layout:

You'll need an Epiphany Crafts Shape Tool (Round 14) and matching Bubble Caps (Round 14) and an Epiphany Crafts Button Tool (Round 20) and matching Buttons (Round 20) to make the pepperonis. Here I am going to show you how to use the Button Tool.

First I created the base page and then cut a printed piece of pizza from a patterned paper (Bella Blvd Midterm paper line).

Slip a piece of paper with pepperonis printed on it into the shape tool. If you don't have paper like this, you can use red paper or whatever paper you want the shape to be. Peel the backing from the button and set the top of the button (non-adhesive side) onto the prongs of the Insert.

Place the Insert into the tool, setting the tabs into the grooves on either side of the tool.

Flip the lid closed and press until you hear a click. You don't have to press super hard or multiple times.

Open the lid and remove the insert. Press down on the tool to pop the shape out. Voila! Super cute embellishment!

Add your embellies to the page for a fun, custom look!

Happy Scrapping!
