We had a blast this weekend at Desert Scrappers Retreats!!!! I've never attended on Thursday before and I have to say that I plan to do that again at the next retreat in June 2011. It was so nice to have 4 days away from it all, scrapping, hanging with the family…I even bought a swimsuit and went swimming for the first time since early 2007!! The salt water pool was awesome.

I demoed Canon printers all weekend long, scrapped with friends Tammy, Jenny and all the other Desert Scrappers attendees, and hung out ALOT with Donna Salazar, Sheila, and Helene. It was fun to spend some time with Laura and her family too.

The next retreat is tentatively scheduled for June 17-19, 2011 — hope to see you there!!!

So without further ado, here are some photos we took at the event:

Laura getting scrappy!! (and working on one of my kits)

Jenny taking a little scrap nap :)

tammyi working hard on a new banner using Donna Salazar goodies–it is sooooo cute!!!

One of the most fun things at the retreat is the Scavenger Hunt–we had the guys play on teams with their wives–so much fun!!

Xaver did a little photo shoot with Donna and her hubby Danny using the Canon Rebel T2i — LOVE this camera!!

Some snapshots of my booth–Xaver was just going crazy taking pics of everything! And I am really glad he did cuz I was major busy :)

The kids hung out in the hall one afternoon, playing with cars and being silly :)

Xaver got some great pics of the little vignettes around the hotel–this was right outside the conference room we were cropping in:
