Today Kristina Werner posted on her blog about how real scrappers make messes. Here's my confession:

My actual scrap room is relatively tidy. There are some places where things get piled and boxes of things to be put away. But most of that ends up as overflow into this room, the formal living/dining room turned crop room. So when I don't have a crop for a couple of months, it piles up and up and up…under tables, over tables, behind things, on chairs…its pretty bad. And this pic was only taken after I actually CLEANED it! LOL
Part of scrapping is the organizing, the constant influx of new products, half finished projects, a new kit you just got in the mail, the mag you plan to look at this week. We're like kids playing with legos or dolls…we make a huge mess but unlike kids, no one is really there to tell us to clean up. It's all in good fun, right?!

Now that I am back from my trip I cannot wait to go back into my mess and get to work :)

Happy Scrapping!

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.

  2. I been working since Dec to put away my stuff I brought home from store– everytime I think I am done I need something from a box so I drag more upstairs — kinda hard to fit 1900 ft store into 10×10 room– I have boxes and bins everywhere and maybe a 3×6 counter that seems to be “my space”
I have decided I like the Creative clutter!

  3. Ok seriously you are not alone! My office looks like that all the time. Never enough storage. When Bill looks in here and sighs I say hey at least I am using it! Besides I work better this way cause everything is out!!
