What’s cooking

We're working on things here around the Priest household, getting ready for the holidays. The tree will be going in the picture window in my front room but first we're removing the tint, adding new drapes and moving furniture. I'd like to break down all the crop tables for the holidays but DH doesn't want to. And then the next minute he says he wishes I would only do my crops once a quarter instead of once a month next year. I can't read him! LOL

My Black Friday Crop was canceled due to low attendance.  I am thankful for that extra day to kick back in PJs and rest. We went out shopping that evening and it was really fun to have a day of “nowhere to go and all day to get there”. That rarely happens!

Speaking of crops, my next one is going to be January 7, 2011. I am looking forward to come slow weekends but you know me, if there is any down time, I might be booking a last minute potluck crop :) Hope you all enjoy the holidays.

Turkey Day was spent at Disneyland to celebrate all the fall birthdays in my family, including mine. Matt got a free ride since his birthday is not until the Spring.  We enjoyed the not-so-crowded rides and attractions, taking it easy and enjoying some of the attractions we usually overlook. We even had turkey!!

The front room is also full of kits in mid-kit, the middle of the kitting process, stacks of product I am going to be making new things with, and some projects for monthly kits. I am bringing them back December 1 (tomorrow!) so be on the look out for new kits.

I've also been working on Art-Full Horizons, a joint venture with Donna Salazar and Laura Miller. We are offering the only all inclusive weekend crafting event that includes hotel, most meals (and gourmet food at that!) and all the classes from top instructors. Our early bird rate ends tomorrow!! Just put $75 down to hold your spot and lock in our low rate. Just to book the hotel on your own for the weekend would cost $500+ and doesn't include food, goodies, and all the classes you're getting. We have so many great things planned! Check it out here:  http://art-fullhorizons.blogspot.com

And finally I am beefing up the etsy shop for Christmas!! There are trees trees trees all over the place. Check out some of the new colors I brought in this year like Electric Blue, Sugar Plum, and Fairy Dust Pink. Plus there are lots of the super popular Vintage Pink trees!

I am starting a new shop this December too if I have a moment. It's called “I See Monsters” …more info Coming Soon!

Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season and see you soon!
