Donna Salazar is on her way to CHA so while she's gone, let's play! Head on over to the Facebook Group for Donna Salazar Products for your chance to win her new releases, before they are even in stores!!

Here's how you get to the Group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=472088525511 So join up on the Group!

And now, for the last of the samples I created using Donna's new lines for CHA:

“Family”
One of the great things about Donna's Mosaic papers is that they have miniature versions of the papers on them. On this page I used the corner from the 12×12 paper from the “Kiss the Cook” paper line in one corner of the page and the matching Mosaic on the other corner–perfecto!

“Silly Girl”
This layout is super simple as far as supplies–Smooch Spritz, Donna Salazar Blank Artistic Paper and some scraps from the Weathered Winter Journal Cards, and a sheet of black cardstock. The rest is well, a secret since I'm doing this one in a class soon :)

“Curious”
I had been spraying Smooch Spritz on something else and it pooled on my table and got on these tags, SO I dragged the tags through the ink that was on the table and let them dry. Then I cut some letters from Donna's Artistic Paper and painted those with Smooch. A little tearing and layering and there's a page!

“By The Sea”
When Donna first showed me this paper, the white wood planks on it made me think whitewash and beach. So I did it–I used a Christmas themed paper to do a beach layout! I also printed my photo with my super cruddy document printer (it does not do photos at all) on another piece of paper from Donna's Weathered Winter (Christmas) line. It has a wonderful shabby chic effect!! The waves are Smooch Spritz on Artistic Paper (Donna Salazar) and the stars are also from the Weathered Winter line. Diecuts were done with Sizzix and Silhouette.

“Favorite Christmas Recipes”
Another recipe book! This one is Christmas paper on the outside but I used the Recipe Cards from the “Kiss the Cook” line. I also used Zutter Corrugated Cardboard and O-Wires. Love my Bind It All!!

“Recipes” Mini Book
Another mini book!! On this one I used Zutter's new Zutter Ds — they are really cool D Shaped rings that clip onto O-Wires so you can hang your books. They work great with the Hang-It-Alls but here I used it as a way to hang my book. I figured this recipe book would be fun to hang on a pantry doorknob or on my apron hook (with my apron) in my kitchen. The best part is, the Ds don't interfere with turning the pages in the book like tying the ribbon around the binding would. Genius! I also used some Vintage Bingo Cards as pages and cut icons from Donna's “Kiss the Cook” Mosaics to use as bingo markers on the cards.

I cannot believe how much I got done in two weeks for all my CHA assignments! Here's the totals between what I created for Donna Salazar and Epiphany Crafts:

Layouts: 14
Mini Books : 3
Altered Tin: 1
Altered Spools: 4
Banners: 2

Now, that's alot of scrap! LOL Hope you enjoyed seeing all my CA projects over the last week or so. Now I can't wait to start doing classes!! Many of these layouts and projects are definitely going to be incorporated into classes.

Happy Scrapping!

  1. Hooray for you, Ms. Productivity. That’s sure a whole LOT of stuff you got done. I love the ocean LO w/Katie. It looks like a digi layout until you see the close-ups. Quite amazing! I hope I have a chance to see that one in person sometime. Thanks for sharing.
