This World Card Making Day let's get a little and give a little. I'll be touring So Cal, visiting scrapbook stores with my “traveling art bar” of Prima goodies all weekend!

Create 4 handmade cards for $10 using Prima's new e-line of embellishments plus their always fabulous papers, stamps, and lace! We'll play a little with Copics and Quickutz as well. After you create your 4 cards, you're welcome to create as many cards as you like, using the supplies from my art bar, to donate to the troops. I'll collect the cards as the day goes along and donate them all to Scrapbook Royalty's Cards for Troops Campaign. You can create the cards for as long as I am at each store so don't miss out!!

October 2 from 6-9pm
@ Collective Journey in Redlands, CA

October 3 at 12pm
@ Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks in Vista, CA

October 3 at 3pm
@ The Red Bee in Tustin, CA

October 3 at 6pm
@ The Scrappin' Table in Placentia, CA

And more stores to come!! Just show up–no need to call and sign up. You can also bring cards you've made at home to donate for the troops.

Here's how Cards for Troops works–we send blank handmade cards to the troops. They fill them out and send them home to their family and loved ones. Stationary and cards are hard to come by in combat zones and handmade items are next to impossible to get so this is a nice treat “from home” and a way to say thanks to our servicemen and women, regardless of your political standing. They and their families sacrifice so we can enjoy the freedom we all have every day. So please join me in making some cards, learning some fun techniques, and in “giving back” creatively ;)! Plus since it's a Prima class, I'll have prizes!! See you there.

Happy Creating!
