Yummy Glitter!

Everyone loves a little bling! Glittered objects are an easy way to make your project fantastic but getting glitter to completely cover and object can be a challenge, especially when using raw chipboard. Here's a great way to get that perfect coat of glitter on your next project: don't use glue, use paint! You've probably even done this in one of my classes!

Supplies:
Glitter
Paint
Chipboard Shape

Using Glitter

1. Paint the item that you want to coat with glitter using a paint of a similar color. Make sure the paint is very wet. It does not have to be perfect and can even be a bit thick to help ensure the glitter sticks well.

2. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle the item with glitter.

3. You can tap off the excess glitter right away or wait for the paint to dry — either way to result is a perfectly glittered masterpiece.

Using Glitter

Any small areas where the glitter did not stick won't stick out like a sore thumb because of the painted background and you'll be saving your adhesive for other things, like photos!
