Each day now through Christmas I will share a mini book – a mini scrapbook – with you that I have created! This book is meant to serve as inspiration and along the way, I will share tips, tricks, techniques, and tutorials as well as the story behind the book. My hope is that these projects inspire you! Whether you're creating a gift for someone special or looking for ideas to use in your December Daily album, this series of posts can serve as a resource for ideas for years to come.
Birthdays are a great topic for mini albums and have LOTS of great items that can be incorporated into a mini album, such as birthday candles, cake toppers, favors, confetti, birthday cards, and even the invitiation to the party! This birthday book is super colorful and incorporates one of my favorite things in mini albums – glassine and paper favor bags.
The beauty of creating your own mini albums is that youcan literally use anything to create them. As long as the item fits in your binding machine or can be punched, you can add it as a page in your mini album. Check out these pages and see if you can spot how many different bags I used in this book!
What oher kinds of items could you use as book pages? Brochures, tickets, postcards, envelopes….the sky is the limit!
Tomorrow, I'll be sharing another mini and another pinnable tip!! Let's get crafty together ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
