4th Grade

I got Katie's second set of school pics back last week–they soooo milk us for money, those LifeTouch people! This time they sent an envelope home with a bunch of different sized prints–just send back the money for the number of sheets you want. Oh, and don't forget to send back the sheets you don't want. Like, what are they going to do with them if you don't want them? Might as well give them all to me.

Xaver wanted 3 sheets which was $36 and for all 8 sheets was only $9 more…so they got me and I bought all 8 sheets. Good thing is these pics match the paper I just picked up from Pink Pineapple last night perfectly–woohoo!

I even worked in some old Jolee's and felt sticker letters. I used the sketch from this week's 52 Sketches as the base:

I am really into challenge blogs lately–I was a while back too and am glad to be back in the groove. I have so many pics to scrap and even more that aren't printed. And then don't even get me started on how many supplies I have! I could probably get so much more done if I just used up what I have instead of trying to find ways to fit more stuff in my little room (aka “organizing”).

The family and I are planning on maybe seeing a movie (if I can peel them away from that City Folk game we got – darn Johanna and Gina–enablers!) so catch you later!

  1. Great layout! Yea…those Lifetouch poeple…whatta scam. Here they held the class picture hostage until you sent back either the pictures or the $$$$. I thought extortion was illegal!

  2. super cute layout. Katie is getting so grown up!! I am also going to go broke over the school pics. I figure since I now refuse to have professional pics of Fiona done after the $50 I spent last year on one package and most of the pics are still sitting here, not scrapped or sent to relatives, and that fancy schmancy new camera I got for Christmas, all the money I save it won’t be so bad, right??

  3. Tell Miss Katie she looks lovely in her pics for me. I cant believe you just got the pictures and have already scrapped the page! You are amazing. I didn’t buy school pictures this year because it is highway robbery I tell you. Then the guilt sets in, but I can take her to wal-mart and have their picture taken for five bucks! All of us scrappers need to band together and start taking our own school pics!
