Do you feel like the crafting world is going through a Renaissance of sorts?

I see macrame, crocheted doilies, and other crafts from the past coming back. And, how about embroidery and needlework? I dusted off my embroidery skills and made a few pieces for the Hydrangea Hippo booth at Crafted at the Port of LA using linen fabric and some vintage embroidery hoops.

We're adding more designs this weekend and, as always, we're up for making them customized for you! We're open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Marketstall A140 at Crafted at the Port of LA, 110 E. 22nd Street, San Pedro, CA.

By the way, if you like macrame and want to see an upbeat modern take on it, stop by my neighbor WoodBrain at Crafted for a look at her cool driftwood succulent planters with macrame hangers :)

See you there!
