Hydrangea Hippo by Jennifer Priest

Craft for the Modern World

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.

A New Place to Create

I finally have my own scraproom. Sure, had a scrap room before but it was really supposed to be Matthew’s room. Plus we were renting and I could not do much decorating. It is messy but I’ve been getting a lot of requests for pictures so I figured I’d go ahead. Katie has her own

In Honor of Summer…All Under 40, 5 Under 30

I know many of us are feeling the burn, not only from the sun but in our wallets too. Luckily, this summer my classes are all under $40, five of which are under $30, for fully embellished mini books no less. Get out of the heat, enjoy the A/C of your local Scrapbook Store, and

Oh My Gosh!

I can’t believe I did not post for a few days–what can you do? LOL Guess I was busy. We’ve been working on trying to get unpacked. I feel like our house should be on one of those shows like “Clean House” because of the boxes and stuff everywhere. Okay, it isn’t REALLY that bad

Been Scrapping…

In between all the fun stuff I got a page done–woohoo! I started this one at our Book Club meeting on Wednesday and then got stumped. I went home and added some more things (like a title, kind of essential, you know?!) and here’s what happened: Sometimes things don’t come out exactly as I would
