CHA

I am home and wow, that was a whirlwind. I worked harder than I ever have before at the show, met so many awesome people, and ordered a gazillion new things to use in classes. I went to bed at 7pm last night and slept almost 12 hours! LOL
I did not take many photos during the show perhaps from a combination of being too busy and of a different atmosphere at the show. This year it was at the LA Convention Center–there was some dark, Gotham-like undertone to it I felt. Just very different than what I have experienced before. In Anaheim, the show has this Disney quality to it, full of excitement. I can't until it is back there next year!!
For me this show was intense — alot more networking and I ordered more product for classes in one fell swoop than I ever have before.  Dinner with my friend Nancy, hanging with Genine, saying hi to Bronwyn, lunch with Lissa and Nan…good times!
I managed to fit in some family time too–Xaver brought the kids down on Sunday morning and we had breakfast at the Nickel in downtown LA. It was so yummy!! Xaver saw it on a Food Network show and had been wanting to try it. So fun!
On Sunday night I met up with Cindy and Cathy and headed to the Willow Traders Dinner at the Yard House. That was a blast! Loved all the chatting, great people, and friends. And the food was yummy too! I did manage to get a photo of us there :)

Tomorrow I'll post pics of the booth :) Did you know that GCD Studios won the Excellence in Exhibiting Award?! And I helped create one corner of the booth, the Donna Salazar side. So that feels pretty awesome to have had a little piece in that success :) Tomorrow then!

  3. Cute pic of you and Cindy and Cathy! Congrats on being part of the winning booth. Looking forward to all of you upcoming projects. I don’t know how anyone determines what to buy for future use at these shows. Agree with you that the atmosphere was different in L.A.
