craftcation conference

One of the things I am trying to do this year is spend more time with my family. So I figured if I was not even going to BE in my hotel room each day at Craftcation, they could at least come and enjoy the beach and then we can hang a little here and there. We took the whole family plus my two nephews. 6 people in a barely 7 person car was interesting. Here are the highlights:

Xaver and the kids had a blast at the beach and at the pool. They spent time in the pool or at the beach every day except when we left on Sunday and that is because it was raining.

Me and Xaver, eating breakfast!!

Matt and my nephews!

I love this sign by Katie at the Busy Bee Diner!!

Xaver got a Lime Phosphate drink at the Busy Bee Diner–he said it was yummy. I passed…

The kids were so excited because we took a boat tour of  the harbor — it was both Matthew and Qamar's first time on a boat!

It is a pretty nice place to chill for the evening!!

On the ride home Katie drank her bacon soda and we enjoyed goodies from a local candy and soda shop. It rained the entire 3 hours drive but it was relaxing. We had an amazing time and I cannot wait to go back!

And don't forget–tomorrow I am teaching this fun mini at Collective Journey!! This is my last class at local stores for a while so please don't miss it!!

I hope you'll join me for a “Pretty Little Party” this Saturday at Collective Journey.
