Welcome to the StencilGirl and Eileen Hull blog hop! Today I created a box using some of Eileen's licensed dies with Sizzix, her line of ColorBox Blends ink with Clearsnap, and of course, StencilGirl stencils. This altered box is super easy to make and will be a keepsake you keep for years and years. It would also make a fabulous Christmas or birthday gift – fill it with candies or fancy soaps or even a pretty necklace! Cats like it too (not recommended as a kitty gift though).

Let's get down to brass tacks – here's how you make this box:

You can get most of the supplies for this box from your local craft store or online. Check out the links below to buy from Amazon- these are affiliate links and your purchase helps Hydrangea Hippo keep the crafts flowing!

It's way easy to make!! And you can do this for any box you have on hand, old or new.

Here's the hop list – head on over to Linda's blog next!!

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.

  15. I am not sure where my comment went off to in cyber space but I just wanted to leave a note to let you know how much I love the little treasure box you created. I like the lacy stencilling and the great colours you used. The lace over the hinges is such a good solution to covering up those ugly old hinges. Thanks for sharing! :)
